The documentary film Invisible Warriors tells the untold story of the Black women who served as “Rosie the Riveters” during World War II. Through firsthand accounts, this film highlights their resilience, patriotism, and contributions to the war effort—forever changing the American workforce and inspiring a continued fight for equality and civil rights. Following the screening, director Gregory S. Cooke (the son of a “Rosie”) will participate in a post-screening Q&A with local author and historian Jean Green, offering deeper insights into these remarkable women and their legacy.
